Single Leg Training Article on NSMB.com

January 29th, 2010

I had my first article published yesterday on www.NSMB.com (North Shore Mountain Biking). In it I covered why single leg strength is important for mountain biking and included a video of one of my favorite lower body exercise for mountain biking.

You can check the article out by clicking here.

God that exchange on NSMB was annoying. You have my sympathy. I was interested to see that Core Performance just had an article extolling single-leg training – split squats, uni RDLs, etc. – to improve balance for snow boarding (http://www.coreperformance.com/daily/play-better/how-to-improve-balance-for-snowboarding.html?utm_source=Publicaster&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Olympian%20Training%20Secrets)! If it works for something as bilateral as snow boarding, you can see how it might be beneficial for mtn biking.
