First of all I want to say thanks to everyone who took the time to enter the comment contest. It was one of my most popular ones ever and there were some pretty funny posts.
As always I used a random number generator to pick the winners – there are way too many good comments for me to choose – and those 5 lucky riders will get a free copy of the new 30 Day Cornering Solution. Here are the winners, they will find a reply from me to their post telling them how to claim their prize.

Now, even if you didn’t win I still have a special deal for you on the new 30 Day Cornering Solution, but first I want to explain a bit more about why I felt the need to create this program.
You see, when I started riding there were few skills that I admired more than the ability to float through a corner with speed and grace. Besides looking cool it was way harder to keep up with riders that could carry their momentum through corners and so I wanted to learn how to do it as well.
At first I just tried to “figure it out” on the trail. This worked for a while but after I had been riding for a few months I seemed to stall out and couldn’t figure out how to get better.
Just trying to go faster and use my brakes less seemed to result in more crashes. This actually made me more timid in corners instead of helping me figure out how to improve.
At this point I was able to take a few skills clinics and got some coaching. Although I learned a lot from them something just didn’t seem to be consistently “clicking” on the trail, though.
It seemed that I could corner pretty good in the parking lot when I was doing my drills and thinking about it but on the trail things were much different. Some days I’d feel pretty good but other days I was back to all my bad habits no matter how hard I tried to stop.
Over the years I got my cornering up to a decent level but I knew that something was missing. I understood cornering on a technical level but I wasn’t feeling it like I knew I needed to in order to make it instinctive on the trail.
I had found ways to help myself and other riders improve other skills on the bike and I knew that if I could just figure out the movements behind the skill I’d be able to fix my bad cornering habits.
And after several years of trial and error with varying degrees of success I finally found the key.
You see, the secret to cornering lies in one thing – your ability to move your hips laterally from side to side while in the Attack Position on your bike. If you don’t know how to do this then all the “technique” in the world can’t help you.
And improving that lateral hip movement is what the 30 Day Cornering Solution is all about. With targeted mobility, strength and skills drills you are guaranteed to be shredding corners with more speed and confidence than ever before.
Today I am releasing this new program to the public. In order to get it into the hands of as many riders as possible I’m going to offer it for only $19…that’s over 50% off the regular price.
For only $19 you can get the blueprint you need to see dramatic improvements in one of the most elusive trail skills. Don’t miss your chance to get the new 30 Day Cornering Solution before this special price goes away for good.

That’s it for now, I’ll be back on Wednesday with a video explaining why driving your cornering technique from your hips is better than simply leaning your bike and dropping your cranks. Once you have this movement skills down – which is the whole focus on the new 30 Day Cornering Solution – you’re cornering skills will instantly improve.

p.s. Remember that you have the power to become the rider you want to be. Odds are you won’t wake up tomorrow and magically improve your cornering skills. And no matter what the ads in the magazines say, buying a new bike won’t do it either.
Only by focusing on the key fitness and skills that support your cornering technique can you truly develop your ability in this all important area of mountain biking.
So, the choice is yours…in 30 days you can be railing corners with more speed and skill…and having more fun in the process… or you can be the same rider you are today. Click on the link below to take control of your riding and break free of the “I’m just not good at corners” lie holding so many riders back from having far more fun on the trail.
