Core training is always a hot topic.  Improving your core strength is supposed to improve your performance and decrease your injury potential which puts it at the top of the list for a lot of riders looking at a strength training program.

And I would agree – a strong core can make a huge difference on the trail. In fact, making sure that the core is functioning properly and teaching it how to be strong in the movement we need on the trail is one of the most important things you can do with your strength training program.

But the term “core training” can mean a lot of things to different people and not everyone’s approach to it is effective for improving your performance on the trail. While we do need to go beyond simple planks for our core training, advanced core training doesn’t need to be complicated or needlessly difficult.

On Thursday I am hosting a free webinar at 2 pm MDT where I’ll share 3 of my favorite advanced core training exercises to help you ride faster, longer and with more confidence on the trail. You can register for this free webinar by clicking on the link below.

Even if you can’t make the live webinar you should still register because I’ll be sending out the replay link so you can watch it later. Of course, I’d encourage you to make the live event so you have the chance to ask any questions you might have – one of the cool things about doing a webinar is the chance I get to interact with the audience.

So if you want to learn more about what core training for mountain biking should really look like and 3 exercises to help train it more effectively then click on the link above and register today. I look forward to sharing this information with you later this week and I hope you get the chance to attend.

Until next time…

Ride Strong,

James Wilson
