This week I’ve got a new BikeJames Podcast for you. A lot has happened since the last one and I had a few interesting topics to share, including…

  • The opening of my new Catalyst Training Facility in Fruita CO
  • Rider Q&A: Is speed determined by power?
  • Why your handlebars are too wide
  • Resistance Bands: Why I like them and some experiments with them
  • Bro Science: The role of emotions on Pacing Strategy

    Hey James,
    Great info!
Keen to hear some more detail on resistance bands. I noticed Dawid Godziek is a fan of them: https://youtu.be/woSshBIKikM?t=67

Any chance of recording some of your morning follow along sessions for those of us overseas?

    Keili and James,
Hope to see your new gym and maybe get some tips. We are traveling over the next 2 mo (July 10 – Sept 10) and are planning to come to Fruita. Maybe my wife and I can visit and or get a “tune up” in our fitness work outs and skills (still can’t come close to manueling or bunny hops!
ps: how do I find you? (not sure what date’s we’ll arrive in the area as we plan to come up from Great Sand Dunes>Salida>Crested Bute>Gunnison> Fruita>Telluride>Cortez>Arizona in our travels. We are in an RV and hope to stay close to some trails in your area.

Love to have you stop in and see the new place. The best thing to do is shoot me an email to james@bikejames.com when you know when you’ll be here and we’ll find a day and time that works.

We also have a website for the facility now, it’s http://www.catalysttrainingfruita.com.

Have a great trip, sounds like a lot of fun!
