Well, this is it…the last blog post for 2013. Since I usually use the last post of the year to go over the lessons I learned from the previous year I figured I’d keep with tradition for the most part and post a new podcast sharing those lessons with you.

Included in those lessons are…

1 – Sometimes it is good to take a step back from riding to gain a fresh perspective and appreciation.

2 – Variety is greatly overrated and using the same workout for 4-6 weeks can produce some amazing results.

3 – The real progress comes from nervous system adaptations, not metabolic adaptations.

4 – Antifragile: The term I’ll be using a lot in 2014

For some reason the podcast it cut short at the 10 minute mark, will have to redo it and post it again, sorry about that!

That’s it for now, I really appreciate everyone and their support this year and I’m looking forward to a great 2014. If you have any questions or comments – I’d love to hear some of your takeaways from this year if you want to share them – then please post a comment below this blog post.

Until next time…

Ride Strong,
