I pretty much spend my weekends around here ripping sweet singletrack in the afternoon and then going up to the Ranch for some “scare yourself silly” kind of fun. Here is a video I made from some random action on the Air Supply Trail…

You’ll hear jeff yelling at Mojo…my trail mutt got a bit confused and ran out on the landing while I was in the air. It was a little hairy there for a second but Mojo is pretty bike savvy and got out of the way pretty quick.

With In-Season cardio training I would recommend longer rest periods to allow for more complete recovery between intervals. That way you aren’t taxing the system as hard so you can have more energy to put into riding and recovering from your rides.

The exact length of rest period can vary but in general you want something with at least a 1:1 ratio of work:rest and even going as high as 3-5:1.
