Hard “Core” Push Up Variations

The push up is one of the best core training exercises for mountain biking and I really like variations that place different and more difficult demands on the core. In this video I show you a “hard core” push up using an Ultimate Sandbag and one using a stability ball…and then I show you one combining both tools for an extremely difficult push up variation.

    Hi James, I see you took my recent comment to heart and incorporated the Swiss Ball into your latest training vid. I love doing the push up/pike combo, it’s a really good full body finisher to any session…I am such a hard core dude….haha. Please don’t throw away all your other fitness gear though. 😉
